Frequently Asked Questions
-
Therapy can be helpful if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or noticing patterns in your life and relationships that you'd like to better understand and change.
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many of the people I work with are self-aware individuals seeking support to create meaningful change in their lives.
-
Your first session will be a bit more structured than our subsequent sessions.
We'll work together to understand what brings you to therapy, your unique needs and goals, and what you hope might feel different in your life. I'll ask some questions about your background and current challenges so I can better understand your experiences.
There is no pressure to share everything all at once. You don't need the "right words" or to tell your story perfectly. We'll move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
Because we'll be covering a lot of information in a relatively short amount of time, many people find it helpful to leave space afterward to rest and decompress.
-
Many of the clients I work with have been in therapy before. They often have a good understanding of their patterns and can identify where their struggles come from, but still find themselves repeating the same cycles in their relationships and daily lives.
Therapy isn't just about gaining insight. Through my approaches, we'll work toward creating new experiences, developing greater self-trust, and supporting meaningful change.
-
I work with clients on a weekly basis to start.
The depth-oriented and holistic work we do together is most effective when therapy occurs consistently. Weekly sessions help build momentum, deepen the work, and support changes that are more likely to last over time.
As therapy progresses, we will decide together on the right frequency as you move closer to your goals.
-
Depth-oriented therapy is highly individualized.
Some clients come to therapy with a specific concern they'd like to address, while others are seeking ongoing support, personal growth, or deeper healing. The length of therapy depends on your goals, your history, and what you are hoping to shift.
Throughout our work together, we'll regularly revisit your goals and ensure therapy continues to feel meaningful and supportive.

I offer in-person therapy in Ventura, California.
2580 E Main St, Suite 100
Ventura, CA 93003 -
My full fee is $195 per 53-minute session.
My rates reflect my level of education, training, and experience. I offer a reduced-rate program to a limited number of clients to help make therapy more accessible. Therapy is an investment of time, resources, and energy, and I hold that with care. If you have any questions about payment or logistics, we can discuss them together.
-
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance companies directly.
I can provide you with a receipt (Superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider before beginning therapy to learn more about your coverage.
-
I understand that life happens and schedules occasionally change.
Clients receive up to four cancellations per calendar year without charge, provided I receive notice at least 48 hours before the appointment. Feel free to ask me questions during our consultation call. All details about policies will be provided prior to the start of therapy.

My approach goes beyond insight alone. I integrate EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and relational therapy to help clients reconnect with themselves, develop greater self-trust, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I believe therapy can be a place where you experience connection without losing connection to yourself. Together, we'll work toward building a relationship with yourself that feels just as important as the relationships you have with everyone else.
