Hi, I’m Meghan Macgeorge, MS, APCC
My approach blends talk therapy, Somatic Therapy, EMDR, honesty, curiosity, and a sense of humor. I believe therapy can be a place where you feel genuinely understood, appropriately challenged, and supported as you create meaningful change.
Before I'm a therapist, I'm a person. Like you, I've experienced life's challenges and know what it means to seek support. The approaches I use in therapy have deeply influenced my own life, which is one of the reasons I trust this work so deeply. They've shown me that it's possible to move from simply surviving to feeling more connected to yourself, your relationships, and your life.
From both personal and professional experience, I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role isn't to tell you who you are or what you should do. It's to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and create the conditions where healing and lasting change can unfold.
Together, we'll work toward building a relationship with yourself that feels just as important as the relationships you have with everyone else.
"Recovery can take place only within the context of relationships; it cannot occur in isolation."
— Judith Lewis HermanA Relationship Where You Don't Have to Carry It All
Many of the people I work with are used to being the one who holds everything together. They pay attention to how others feel, anticipate others' needs, and often take on more than their share of responsibility in relationships.
Therapy offers something different.
A space where you don't have to take care of anyone else. A space where your thoughts, feelings, needs, and experiences take center stage. A space where you are encouraged to show up as yourself without the pressure of managing, fixing, or carrying the people around you.
The relationship we build in therapy can become an opportunity to experience connection without losing connection to yourself.
A space where clients feel both supported & challenged.
What Working Together Looks Like
A collaborative approach that honors your experiences, insights, and goals.
Thoughtful questions that help uncover patterns and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck.
Attention to both your mind and body in the therapeutic process.
Honest reflection and gentle challenge when old patterns are getting in the way of the life you want.
Humor, compassion, and authenticity are woven throughout the process.
A focus on your strengths, not just your struggles.
Support in recognizing when you're carrying responsibility that was never meant to be yours.
Support in moving beyond insight and into meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of Work
When I'm not working with clients, you'll often find me spending time outdoors, connecting with my community, cooking, or exploring with my dog.
I also value taking care of my own physical, emotional, and mental well-being. I attend therapy, enjoy breathwork classes, make time to move my body, and unwind with the occasional reality TV.
I believe that self-care isn't something we earn once everything else is done; it's an important part of living a connected, meaningful life. It's a value I strive to practice in my own life and one I hope to help my clients cultivate in theirs.
Let’s Connect
Finding the right therapist matters.
If you're curious about working together, I invite you to schedule a consultation call. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether we're a good fit.
